Thus, the subscriber cache in DNS Cache Acceleration is populated with the local ID that is taken from the subscriber config coming from NIOS. The presence of subscriber local ID information in DCA helps to answer queries . Hence, the DNS Cache Acceleration answers all queries that comes from the DCA cache for such respective subscribers. These changes are valid for individual IP addresses only and the subnet local ID is considered as 0.
