  1. Connect the following to your B1-105 appliance:

    1. The power cable that comes with the appliance.

    2. An Ethernet cable using the LAN2 port on the front of the appliance. (You must use the LAN2 port to connect the appliance in the initial setup. Once the appliance is up and running, you can use both the LAN1 and LAN2 ports in your configuration.)

      On the Cloud Services Portal, the LAN2 port appears as enp1s0 while the LAN1 port as enp2s0.


  2. Power up the appliance by pressing the power button and releasing it quickly. If your network has DHCP service available, your B1-105 appliance will automatically receive an IP address and BloxOne DDI can detect the appliance and its IP address.

    Once you power up the appliance, the appliance automatically enters the Awaiting Approval state. You can now log in to the Cloud Services Portal to approve or deny the host connection.
