To ensure that data is forwarded to a syslog destination securely, do the following:
- Configure syslog to secure TCP communications by using TLS. This is mandatory for an encrypted communicationcommunications.
- Configure server certificates so such that the Data Connector can forward DNS queries and responses to the configured Syslogsyslog. Note that the The server certificates must be self-signed or signed by CA authorities. You ; you can retrieve these from your Syslog syslog tools.
