The data reported in the Web Content Discovery report is information collected prior to applying security policy rules. Web Content Discovery can be an important new tool in helping to create your security and organizational policy around appropriate Internet usage. Web Content Discovery makes it is possible to browse traffic based on category on your network and identify potential threats based on category. You can provide feedback for any specific threat category by running a Dossier search and submitting the Dossier feedback form located on the Dossier Summary page. To access the Web Content Discovery, go to Reports > Web Content Discovery.
Application Discovery, which is accessed from Reports > Application Discovery, provides a means of detecting and managing the types and numbers of all applications on your organization's network: those approved and supported, awaiting review and approval, and not approved.
