To receive notifications and updates, your DNS server or servers must be added as members to your DNS configuration.  Assigning IP addresses ensures that notifications and updates are received from the correctly configured member IP addresses only. 

Step 4:  Configure DNS Servers to Receive Notifications and Updates

To configure the DNS servers to receive notifications and updates as step 4 in the four-step On-Prem Firewall Service set-up process, complete the following: 

  1. Click Configure Members in the Cloud Services Portal (Policies > On-Prem DNS Firewall)  followed by clicking Configure Members to add or remove DNS servers to which you want to send notifications about updates in DNS Firewall feeds. To receive notifies the IP Address must be public. If it is incorrect, then notifications will not be received by the DNS server.
