AWS Route53 private hosted zones can be synchronized with BloxOne DDI into a single separate DNS View that is separate from the DNS view that one used for public hosted zones are synchronized into. With the This Split View feature , all AWS R53 private hosted zones are placed into a DNS view that is automatically created by creates a dedicated DNS view in the BloxOne DDI platform during synchronizationspecifically for AWS R53 private hosted zones. The name of this DNS view created by BloxOne for private hosted zones will contain will have "split-view-private" as a suffix in its name.
The Split View feature can be leveraged to assist in synchronizing zones into separate views so that with the addition of match-clients ACLs, a different DNS query response can be delivered based on the source of the query (split horizon).
