To configure notification delivery methods for users and user groups, complete the following:

  1. From the Cloud Services Portal, click Notifications.

  2. On the Notifications page, click Admin Settings on the upper right-hand side of the page. You can also click the gear icon (the settings iconImage Modified) in the New Notifications panel after clicking the bell icon (the bell icon) in the left navigation panel.
  3. In the Admin Settings dialog, expand the user group(s) for which you want to configure notifications. You can click Expand All Sections to view all the user groups and service integrations. You can also expand a specific section by selecting it from the Sections drop-down list. For each user group or service integration, you can configure whether to delivery notifications through both or one of the following:

    • Email: Select this to send notifications using the users' email addresses.

    • In-app: Select this to have the notifications displayed in a banner on the top right corner of the Cloud Services Portal for the users to see when they are logged in to the portal.

  4. Click Save or Save & CloseYou can click Reset to Default on top of each section to revert to the default settings.

  • New Release Notifications: Events related to new BloxOne release information, such as new features and enhancements, based on your BloxOne subscriptions.
  • Account Notifications: Events related directly to user accounts, such as password reset, new user notification, user deletion, and others.
  • DDI Metrics: Events about whether the DHCP utilization is too high or too low.
  • Host NotificationsEvents related to the host metrics, such as if a host is using too much memory or is running out of hard drive space. You can configure the thresholds that trigger these alerts. For information, see Configuring Service Thresholds and Alerts.
  • Service Notifications: Service-down alerts for selected services that are running on the host. All service-down notifications are deselected by default. You must choose the services on which you want to receive notifications and configure the applicable delivery method to receive service notifications. For information on service notifications, see Configuring Service Thresholds and Alerts.
    Note: BloxOne sends service notifications for available services only. For example, notifications are not currently supported for the DFP service; therefore, you cannot choose to receive service-down notifications for the DFP service.
  • The SOC Insightful Reporting system: Cloud Services Portal event notifications delivered via Data Connector to SIEMs, such as license expiration, CPU utilization, or new feature announcements.
