Before synchronizing Azure DNS data with BloxOne Universal DDI, you must create credentials within BloxOne Universal DDI. This allows BloxOne Universal DDI to access Azure DNS data, and vice versa. Configure the permissions as specified in Permissions required in Azure DNS.

To create credentials, do the following:

  1. Go to Configure > Administration > Credentials.

  2. Click Create > Azure.

  3. Do the following:

    1. Name: Specify a name.

    2. Description: Specify a description.

    3. Tags: Click Add, and specify a key and a value.

  4. Click Next.

  5. Do the following on the Credentials pane:

    1. Tenant ID: Specify a value.

    2. Client ID: Specify a value.

    3. Client Secret: Specify a value.

  6. Click Next.

  7. Click Save & Close.
