When a host server is in the Awaiting Approval state, it is waiting for your approval or denial on its connection.

When you approve the host server connection, the host server might temporarily enter the Pending state while establishing the connection. Once the host server connection is established, the host server state changes to Active Online. Once the host becomes Activethe server is online, you can activate applicable services or modify other configuration for the hostserver.

You can also perform the following function from the Host Server Actions menu at the top of the list:

  • Copy API Access Key: Select this option to copy the API access key for the selected host. Note that this functionality is supported only for existing hosts that were configured before the current release.
  • Create Template: Select this option to create a snapshot of the host the server configuration and apply this template to other hosts servers when applicable.
  • Disconnect: Select this option to disconnect the hostserver, including the removal of all current services and its configuration. 
  • Revoke: Select this option to revoke the host the server join token. In the Revoke HostServer? dialog box, click Confirm to revoke the hostserver's join token. When you revoke the hostserver's join token, the security certificate associated with the host the server becomes invalid, and the host server status changes to Revoked. To reactivate the hostserver, you must issue a new join token and approve the host server connection again.
  • Refresh Status: Select this option from the drop-down list to get information about the host the server and the associated application.

  • Replace: Select this option to replace the current host current server with a different host different server from among the available options.
  • Reassign: Select this to replace an existing host with a new host. When you select this option, the application allows an host to be substituted for another without losing the application(s) configuration. The data provided by the host is set to null, e.g., IP address, MAC address, etc.

  • Remove: Selectthis to delete an hosta server. When you delete a hostserver, the API key associated with it becomes invalid. Note that the Remove function applies only to virtual appliancesservers, not physical appliancesservers.

  • Troubleshoot:  Choose among the following options to diagnose issues impacting the hostserverTraceroute, DNS Test, Traffic CaptureNTP Test, and Restart HostServer
  • Local Access: Select this option to limit host the server to local access only.
