To create a zone delegation, complete the following:
From the Cloud Services Infoblox Portal, click Manage -> Configure > Networking > DNS.
- Click the respective DNS view.
- Click Create - > Zone - > Zone Delegation.
- Configure the following in the Create Zone Delegation screen:
- Parent Zone: Choose the parent zone.
- Name: Specify the name of the child zone.
- Description: Specify a description.
- Authoritative DNS Servers: Click Add and configure the following:
- Name: Enter the name of the DNS server.
- IP Address: Enter the IP address of the DNS server.
- Click Save & Close.
