BloxOne Infoblox Platform supports importing and exporting certain data and configuration. When you export data, you have a choice of exporting to a JSON or CSV file. To successfully import data, you must use the supported format and include supported parameters in the import file. You can also import a downloaded or edited JSON or CSV file into the same or different user account through the Cloud Services the Infoblox Portal. For more information, see Supported Formats and Import Parameters.

Note
Warning
title
  • Some parameters in the CSV file are mandatory. The values for all the import parameters are mandatory as well. Removing a mandatory import parameter or leaving it blank will lead to the import failing. The mandatory fields are marked with an * (asterisk).
Note
  • The import function will fail when the mandatory fields are removed from the CSV file.
However, when any non-mandatory fields/values in those fields, are removed or left blank in the CSV, it will erase the values that are already present in the CSP, though the import is successful. Any modification/removal of fields in CSV is not recommended.

  • Any blank spaces will be considered as null value and thus importing a null value will remove the existing ones.

  • It is recommended to do an export, edit the necessary details in the export file, and then import it.

  • All links to the imported and exported data will become invalid after 30 days.
  • You can import data up to a maximum file size of 750 MB.
