The Infoblox Status page provides BloxOne Infoblox Platform service statuses and daily incidents. It also includes information about planned and unplanned events that might affect your services. To keep abreast of this information, you can access the Infoblox Status page at https://status.infoblox.com. For detailed information about new features, visit the Infoblox Documentation Portal at docs.infoblox.com.

  1. Open an internet browser and enter https://status.infoblox.com.
  2. The top banner displays the overall service status for the BloxOne Infoblox services. You will see one of the following in the banner:
    • Green Operational: All the
    BloxOne
    • Infoblox services are operating properly.
    • Yellow Degraded Performance: Some
    BloxOne
    • Infoblox services have degraded performance.
    • Orange Partial outage: Some
    BloxOne
    • Infoblox services are out of service.
    • Red Major outage: A majority of the
    BloxOne
    • Infoblox services are out of service.
    Blue
    • Blue Under maintenance: The

    BloxOne
    • Infoblox service(s) are currently under maintenance.

Viewing Service Statuses

The Status page displays statuses for each of the following BloxOne Infoblox Platform bundles for the past 90 days: BloxOne Infoblox Threat Defense (Essentials), BloxOne Infoblox Threat Defense (Business On-premPremises), BloxOne Infoblox Threat Defense (Business Cloud/Advanced), and BloxOne Universal DDI.

To view service statuses, complete the following:

  1. Open an internet browser and enter https://status.infoblox.com.
  2. The Status page displays service for each of the following BloxOne following Infoblox Platform bundles: BloxOne Infoblox Threat Defense (Essentials), BloxOne Infoblox Threat Defense (Business On-premPremises), BloxOne Infoblox Threat Defense (Business Cloud/Advanced), and BloxOne Universal DDI. For each BloxOne Infoblox Platform bundle, the Status page displays a status bar consisting of 90 vertical slots, each representing a day for the past 90 days.

Perform the following to view detailed status information:

  • Click the + icon next to a BloxOne an Infoblox Platform bundle to view the list of bundled services and their statuses.
  • Hover your mouse over the ? icon next to each product component to view the description of the component and to learn what happens if the service is unavailable.
  • Hover your mouse over a vertical slot to view service status for a specific date.

Tunnel Service Status

Tunnel status information is sent to Health Monitor Service (HMS), where IPsec Tunnel status is aggregated from all IPsecEP pods. Tunnel status is further interpreted based on the aggregation policy and marked as degraded. The composite status is displayed to user.

The following tunnel service statuses are reported:

  • Not Ready (status color ORANGE ): Indicates that the service is in the process of being provisioned at the Infoblox POP (service location). This is a one-time state; it will not revert back to this state once it changes.
  • Ready (status color ORANGE): Indicates the backend for the tunnel(s) is provisioned, but the link is not physically connected at the customer site. This is a one-time state; it will not revert to this stsate once it changes. 
  • Connected (status color GREEN): All tunnels are active and operational on both ends: both the Infoblox PoP and the customer site (router). 
  • Not Connected (status color RED): Indicates that all tunnels are down.
  • Degraded (status color ORANGE): Indicates that there are multiple tunnels to one Availability Zone and one or more (not all) of the tunnels go down, or if any existing tunnel fails, it results in a degraded state. Degradation is based on tunnel metrcis such as latency and packet loss.

Viewing Uptime and Incident History

  1. On the Status page, click View historical uptime in the status section.
  2. In the Uptime tab, you can filter the uptime history by BloxOne Infoblox Platform components as well as a date range. The calendar view displays the uptime history for each calendar day.

  • Hover your mouse over a specific day to view detailed uptime status for that day.
  • Click the Incidents tab to view specific incidents for the selected BloxOne Infoblox Platform component and configured date range. To select another component, click Filter Components and select the desired component.
  • Drill down to specific components by selecting or deselecting them, or click Select all to select all the components.
  • In the Past Incidents section, you can view a history of the past incidents sorted by date.
