To manage efficiently handle protocol service traffic efficiently, use utilize service instances to bind associate your services to specific with particular network interfaces.

While creating When setting up a protocol service, you choose a host NIOS-X server on which you want to run the service. You can reassign or transfer the service to a different host another NIOS-X server after you set up the service. This feature is useful if you need to update your network infrastructure or retire decommission a specific hostparticular server.

Use the following steps to create these protocol services: Data Connector, DHCP, and DNS, MS AD Sync, and NIOS Grid Connector. For other protocol services, refer to their respective documentation.

The interface binding feature is currently unavailable for the NIOS Grid Connector service. The Create <Service> wizard will guide you through the applicable steps when creating a service.
