Local search only searches the list of objects for the particular object page you are on.
Local search provides three the following search options:
prefix - wildcard : Wildcard placed before the search string. If you do not add any wildcard, the search type will be prefix search by default.
infix - wildcard : Wildcard placed within the search string.
suffix - wildcard : Wildcard placed at the end of the search string.
exact match search - for : For an exact match search, specify the search string in double quotes. For example, “search string”enter the string in this format: “search string”.
Here is an example of how the wildcard search works. Let's say we If you want to search within the following text:

networking.com
ams.network.com

Prefix search: When searching with the query For a query of network, the search will generate a match only for networking.com. Without specifying the wildcard, the type of search is a prefix by default.
Prefix, suffix and infix search: For a query query of *network* will generate a , the search will generate a hit for all texts with the word network. All the entries specified above will be listed. By using all the three types of search, we you can get a more accurate result for the search string.
