traceroute [option...options] <hostname|IPv4_address>

traceroute6 [option...options] <hostname|IPv6_address>

  • hostname is the name of the destination host to use in the traceroute attempt.
  • IPv4_address is the IPv4 address of the destination host to use in the traceroute attempt.
