This section explains how to upgrade Infoblox IPAM Plug-In for VMware.

Upgrading

VMware Aria Automation Orchestrator

To upgrade Infoblox IPAM Plug-In for VMware:

  1. Log in to the VMware Aria Automation Orchestrator Control Center.

  2. Click In the Plug-Ins –> section, click Manage Plug-Ins.Deselect

  3. In the Infoblox IPAM Manage Plug-in checkbox and click Save changesIns page, click the button in the Enable plug-in column for Infoblox IPAM Plugin to disable it.

  4. Click SAVE CHANGES.

  5. In the Manage Install Plug-Ins pageIn section, click Browse.

  6. In the file upload File Upload dialog box, select the .dar file (o11nplugin-ipam.dar) for the plug-in version 6.02.0, and click Open.

  7. Click Install, and then click Install again to confirm. The Infoblox IPAM Plug-In 6.02.0 overwrites the existing plug-in version.
    After the orchestrator server restarts, navigate to the Validate Configuration page and verify that the node is configured properly.

  8. If the Infoblox IPAM checkbox is not selected Ensure that the the button in the Enable plug-in column , select it and click Save Changes.

Upgrading VMware Aria Automation

To update the plug-in file in a vRA Cloud Assembly integrationVMware Aria Automation, complete the following steps;

  1. Log in to the

  2. In the My Services section, click

  1. Assembler to launch the service.

  2. On the Infrastructure tab, select Connections -> Integrations.
    The Integrations page is displayed.

  3. On the integration in which the plug-in must be upgraded, click OPEN.

  4. On the displayed integration page, under Provider, click MANAGE IPAM PROVIDERS.

    1. In the Manage IPAM Providers dialog box, click IMPORT PROVIDER PACKAGE.

    2. In the File Upload dialog box, browse, and then select the Infoblox IPAM plug-in that you downloaded.

    3. Click Open.

    4. When prompted, click UPDATE to update the latest file.

    5. After the file update completes, click CLOSE.

    6. Enter the password of the account used to access the NIOS Grid.

    7. Click Validate.

  5. After the validation completes, click SAVE.
