Starting from version 2.7.0, IPAM Plug-In for Terraform supports the management of the forward zone object in Terraform. For more information, see Zone Forward.

Search Functionality Enabled for Host Record, IPv6 Network Container, and IPv6 Network objects

Starting from version 2.7.0, IPAM Plug-In for Terraform supports the use of data source blocks to retrieve information on objects, IPv6 network, IPv6 network container, and host records. For more information, see the corresponding topics on page Resources and Data Sources Supported by the Plug-In Version 2.7.0 for Terraform.

Support for Terraform Version 1.8.1

IPAM Plug-In for Terraform version 2.7.0 has the ability to support the latest version of Terraform 1.8.1.

Support for Go Lang Version 1.21 and Later

IPAM Plug-In for Terraform version 2.7.0 has the ability to support Go Lang version 1.21 and later.

Support for Using the import Block to Import NIOS Objects (RFE-14016)

IPAM Plug-In for Terraform enables you to import NIOS objects into Terraform by defining Terraform import blocks in the Terraform state file of corresponding Terraform resources. For more information, see Importing Existing NIOS Objects to Terraform.

What’s New in IPAM Plug-In for Terraform 2.6.0

Terraform Internal ID to Manage Supported Resource Objects (RFE-13883)

The IPAM Plug-In for Terraform version 2.6.0 introduces the extensible attribute Terraform Internal ID to manage resources in Terraform. The extensible attribute assigns a UUID to every supported resource, which helps to identify the resource and manage drift state in Terraform.
