To create a host via the Cloud Services Portal:
Log in to the Infoblox Portal. Go to Manage > Servers, and then click Create Server. In the Create Server wizard, specify the following information on the General Info page: Name: Enter the name of the server. This is a required field. Description: Enter additional information about the server. Serial Number: Enter the serial number here. For physical VEP-1425 and VEP-1485 servers, obtain the seven-digit serial number from the Service Tag label on the bottom of the appliance. IP Space: From the drop-down menu, choose or search for an IP space in which you want your server to reside. Location: From the drop-down list, choose a location profile you want to apply to the server. When you associate a location with the server, you can find the exact location of the server on the world map. For information, see Viewing General Server Information. You can also apply the same location profile to multiple servers to group the servers by location. For information about location management, see Managing Locations. For information about IP settings, see Setting IP Interfaces. Tags: Click the down arrow and then Add to specify the keys to be associated with the server: KEY: Enter a meaningful name for the key. VALUE: Select the appropriate checkbox, and enter the value for the associated key. For details, see Managing tags. Click Next to view the summary of the server you have created, or click Cancel to cancel the creation of the server. For details, see Viewing Server Summary.
