To edit a prefix list, complete the following:

  1. Log in to the Cloud Services Portal.
  2. Click Manage > Routing > Prefix List.
  3. On the Prefix Lists page, choose the prefix list you want to modify and click Edit.
  4. In the Edit <Prefix List> dialog, complete the following:
    • State: Use the toggle switch to enable or disable the prefix list.
    • Name: Displays the name of the prefix list. You cannot modify this field.
    • Description: Edit the description of the prefix list.
    • Click Add in the RULES section and complete the following:
      • ACTION: Choose the action you want to apply to this IPv4 prefix list. You can either allow or deny traffic to the route that matches the prefix list.
      • PREFIX: Enter the IPv4 prefix. For example, if you want to permit or deny traffic to 10.0.0.0/8, enter 10.0.0.0/8 here.
      • PREFIX LENGTH GE: Specifies the prefix length that is greater than or equal to the subnet value. This is the lowest value of the range of the prefix length.
      • IPV4 PREFIX LENGTH LE: Specifies the prefix length that is less than or equal to the subnet value. This is the highest value of the range of the prefix length.
    • You can also delete a prefix list by selecting the check box of the prefix list and clicking Remove
  5. Click Save &Close to save the configuration.
