Creating Option Groups

To create option groups:

1. From the Infoblox Portal, click Configure > Networking > IPAM/DHCP > Option Groups > Create > IPv4 Option Group or IPv6 Option Group.

2. On the Create Option Group page, specify the following:
   

   • Name: Enter a name for the option group.
   • Description: Enter additional information about the option group.
   • Options: Click Add to associate option spaces or an option group or click Remove to delete the entry. Complete the following to associate option groups:

   • • Type: Select Option or Option Group from the drop-down list.

     • Space: Select a value from the drop-down list. The values are displayed in the list based on the type selected.

     • Name: Select a value from the drop-down list. The values are displayed in the list based on the space selected.

     • Option Type: Displays the type of option selected.

     • Value: Enter a value for the selected option type.

   • Tags: For information about tags, see Managing Tags.
     

3. Click Save & Close to save the details or click Cancel to exit.
