Adding a New Traffic Flow Source

  1. To add a new source, complete the following:

    1. Create: Select a source from among the listed options.

    2. Name: Enter a distinctive name for this application.

    3. Description: Provide a description of up to 256 characters.

    4. State: Use the slider to enable or disable this configuration. When the configuration is disabled, traffic does not flow.

    5. Tags: Click Add and specify a key-value pair to associate with the traffic flow:

      • KEY: Enter a meaningful name for the key, such as a location or department.

      • VALUE: Enter a value for that key. For more information, see Managing Tags.

  2. CREDENTIALS FOR GRID MASTER CONFIGURATION

    1. FQDN/IP: Enter an FQDN or IP address. This is a required field. 

    2. User Name: Enter a user name for the source configuration.

    3. Password: Add a password to the source configuration. This is a required field.

    4. Insecure Mode: Uncheck the box (if available( to run in "Insecure Mode."

    5. CA Certificate: Click Select File to upload a CA Certificate.   

  3. SCP CREDENTIALS FOR DNS QUERY LOGS TRANSFER
    a. User Name: Enter a user name for the source configuration.

  4. To save the application configuration, click Save.
