Creating AWS Credentials
Before synchronizing AWS Route 53 data with Universal DDI, you must create credentials within Universal DDI. This allows Universal DDI to access AWS data, and vice versa.
To create credentials, do the following:
Go to Configure > Administration > Credentials.
Go to Create > AWS.
Specify the values for the following:
Name: Specify a name.
Description: Specify a description.
Access Key ID: Enter the Access Key ID.
Secret Access Key: Enter the Secret Access Key.
Session Token: Specify the session token.
Tags: Click Add, and specify a key and a value
Click Save & Close.
Cross-account access is a feature provided by Amazon Web Services (AWS) that allows users to securely access resources and services in another AWS account. For more information, see Cross account access in AWS.
You must configure the Principal and External ID for the Infoblox Portal to interact with AWS. For more information, see Configure the Principal and External ID.
