Configuring vNIOS for Azure as the Primary DNS Server
To use vNIOS for Azure as the primary DNS server, complete the following steps in the Microsoft Azure portal:
- Log in to your Microsoft Azure account.
- Select the VNet for which you want the vNIOS for Azure instance to serve DNS.
- Click Settings -> DNS servers.
- In the DNS servers panel, complete the following:
- DNS servers: Select Custom DNS.
Primary DNS server: Enter the IP address of the vNIOS for Azure instance.

- Click Save at the top of the panel.
