DDNS commands may be lost which may lead to inaccurate DNS information. You can request the DHCP server to resend DDNS update for a single IP address or multiple IP addresses manually to fix missing DNS records.

To resend DDNS update, complete the following:

  1. From the Cloud Services Portal, click Manage > IPAM/DHCP > Address Spaces.

  2. Click on the IP Space > Address Block > corresponding Subnet. It displays the ranges associated with the IP space.

  3. Click the one or more IP addresses or click the Range and select one or more IP addresses.

  4. Click Leases > Resend DDNS Update.

You can resend DDNS updates at the subnet level or range.
