- Schedule Updates: You can choose to automatically update endpoint groups or you can choose to defer endpoint group updates for a period between 1 and 30 days. This can be useful in validating a new endpoint release on a few devices prior to updating endpoint for all users on your network. To schedule endpoint group updates, complete the following:
- Automatic Updates: Select Automatic updates to have endpoint updates installed automatically.
- Schedule Updates: Select Schedule updates, to manually choose the day and time, and duration for endpoint group updates.
- Day & Time: Schedule a day and time for endpoint updates.
- Duration: The period of time the system will attempt to perform the update process. You can select a duration period between 4 hours and 10 hours, in one hour increments.
- Defer Updates: You can choose to defer updates for up to four weeks. To defer updates, toggle the Disable/Enable switch to the right to enable update deferment. The option to defer updates is only available for endpoint groups where automatic updates are enabled.
