Dossier Transactions

The Dossier Transactions report is available to administrators of Infoblox Threat Defense Business On-Premises, Infoblox Threat Defense Business Cloud, and Infoblox Threat Defense Advanced subscriptions. The reports display data for an organization’s or a team’s Dossier usage, both via the UI and via API calls. 

Transactions

To view a Dossier Transactions report, from the Infoblox Portal, click Configure > Administration -> Dossier Usage. The Dossier Transactions report posts usage data broken out by transaction. The following information is shown in the report:

  • DATE: The date range is broken out by month for the most recent one-year interval.
  • USER ID: The unique user identifier used within an organization.
  • INDICATOR: The indicator being searched for in Dossier.  
  • METHOD: The method used to access the data (API or UI).
  • TYPE: The indicator type (IP, Host, or URL).
  • SOURCE: The meta data returned when the indicator search was performed, e.g. ATP, DNS, GCS, GSB, Malware_analysis, or WHOIS.

By clicking on the object on the right-hand table header, you can turn on/off what information is listed in the table based on the available options. 

Running a Transactions Report

To run a Transactions report, complete the following:

  1. From the Infoblox Portal, click Configure > Administration -> Dossier Usage.
  2. On the top action bar of the Dossier Usage page, click the link of your desired Dossier Report. Three Dossier Usage reports are available: License Summary, User Summary, and Transactions.
  3. Select a start date and time for your Dossier Transactions report by clicking on the start calendar object and selecting a start date and time.
  4. Select an end date and time for your Dossier Transactions report by clicking on the end calendar object and selecting an end date and time.
  5. Click Submit to run the report.

Report Range: The start and end times and dates of the search query. The user can select the date and time range of the requested report based on their requirements.

Exporting a Report: Table Data can be exported in the following formats, CSV, JSON, or XML. To export a Dossier Transactions  report, click on Export and select one of the three formats to export.
