Remove DHCP Record

Use the Remove DHCP record workflow to remove a fixed address or reservation from the NIOS database. The workflow allows you to specify either a particular IP address or extensible attributes to search for the fixed addresses or reservations that must be removed. Note that IP reservation objects in NIOS consist only of IPv4 addresses. Fixed address objects may be either IPv4 or IPv6.

1. Log in to the VMware Aria Automation Cloud Services Console.
2. On the Services tab, click Orchestrator.
3. In the Dashboard panel, expand Library and click Workflows.
   The Workflows folder and its contents are displayed.
4. Expand Library > Infoblox, and select Remove DHCP record.
5. In the top-level menu of the workflow panel, click Run.
6. The Remove DHCP record panel is displayed.
7. On the Connection tab, click Connection to the IPAM server and select the IPAM connection as follows:
   1. In the Select InfobloxIPAM:IPAMConnection dialog, expand Infoblox IPAM and select the IPAM connection.
   2. Click Select.
8. On the Remove criteria tab, do one of the following:
   • Specify the IP address assigned to the fixed address or reservation record that must be removed.
     Optionally, specify the network view where the fixed address or reservation record resides.
   • Select Use extensible attributes to remove the fixed addresses and reservations? (IP address is used by default):
     1. In the Number of extensible attributes drop-down list, choose a number.
        According to the number you chose, Extensible attribute #<n> tabs are added to define the extensible attributes.
     2. On each Extensible attribute #<n> tab, specify the name, value, and type of the comparison (such as equal or not_equal) to use to find the record.
9. Click Run.
