Before synchronizing Azure Active Directory (AD) DNS data with BloxOne DDI, you must create AD credentials in BloxOne DDI. This allows BloxOne DDI to access AD DNS data, and vice versa.

To create credentials, complete the following steps:

  1. Go to Admin > Credentials.

  2. Click Create > Microsoft Active Directory.

  3. Do the following:

    • Name: Create a name.

    • Description: Create a description.

    • Tags: Click Add, and specify a key and a value.

  4. Click Next.

  5. Do the following in the Credentials pane:

    • Domain\User Name: Specify the domain and the user name for the AD server.

    • Password: Specify the password for the AD server.

  6. Click Next.

  7. Click Save & Close.
