Configuring NIOS
Assuming that the NIOS grid master has multiple members created in it, each member can be configured to send the DNS Query/Response logs and/or RPZ Logs to required data connector servers.
Note
An RO user permission is required to receive data from NIOS in the form of DNS Query/Response logs or as RPZ logs, or to receive IPAM meta data.
Configuring RPZ
To configure RPZ, perform the following:
- From the NIOS, click Grid > Members.
- On the Members screen, click Edit to configure the selected member.
- Click Monitoring > Check Log to External Syslog Servers.
- Click + to add an external syslog server and to update the data connector credentials to which the RPZ logs will be sent.
- Follow the above procedure to configure all the required members and to update the respective data connector servers to which the logs will be sent.
