  1. In the Cloud Services Portal, go to Manage > Routing > OSPF Routers.

  2. Click Create.

  3. In the Create OSPF Service dialog, do the following:

    1. In the General Info tab, specify the following:

      1. Name: Create a name that does not exceed 64 characters in length. Use numbers, any special characters, uppercase and lowercase letters, and even spaces. Start and end the name with any character but not a space. Leading and trailing spaces will be trimmed off automatically.

      2. Description: Enter a description that does not exceed 256 characters in length.

      3. Service State: By default, a new OSPF service is set to Started.

      4. Host: Click Select Host, choose a host from the drop-down list, and click Select.

      5. Tags: Expand the menu, click Add, and specify the following:

        1. KEY: Select an existing key, or create a new one. The name of a key can contain alphanumeric characters and underscores.

        2. VALUE: provide Enter a value for the keythat does not exceed 256 characters in length.

    2. Click Next.

    3. On the Interface Binding tab, provide information to be used in configuring the interface binding for the host service:

      1. All Interface Binding: Select this checkbox to implement All Interface Binding for the host service.

      2. WAN: Select this checkbox to implement WAN for the host service.

      3. LAN: Select this checkbox to implement LAN for the host service.

    4. Click Next.

    5. On the Global OSPF Settings tab, specify the following.

      1. Version: OSPFV2 is set automatically.

      2. PID: Enter a random number as the OSPF process ID. The PID is also called the instance ID and is local to OSPF. Service Edge supports only one instance of OSPF

      3. Auto-cost reference bandwidth

      4. Router ID: Enter a valid IP address.

      5. Log Adjacency Changes: By default, Disabled is selected. To change this, toggle the switch to Enabled.

      6. Passive All: By default, Disabled is selected. To change this, toggle the switch to Enabled.

      7. In the DEFAULT INFORMATION ORIGINATE section, specify the following:

        1. Advertise default route: By default, Disabled is selected. To change this, toggle the switch to Enabled.

        2. Always Advertise Unconditionally: By default, Disabled is selected. To change this, toggle the switch to Enabled.

        3. Metric: Enter an integer.

        4. Metric Type: Select 1 or 2.

        5. Route Map: Select an existing route map, or create a new one.

    6. Click Next.

    7. In the OSPF Areas tab, click Add Area and specify the following:

      1. Area ID: Enter an area ID as an integer or an IP address.

      2. Authentication Type: Select Simple or Message Digest.

    8. Click Next.

    9. Click Add, and select the required fields Interface and Area.

    10. Click Next, and review the summary of the OSPF configuration you have created.
