Hosts, which are formerly referred to as on-prem hosts, are physical or virtual appliances on which you run BloxOne services based on according to your license entitlements. Note that “host” is formerly referred to as “on-prem host.” Depending on your network infrastructure and how you want to implement hosts, you can deploy a host them by using Infoblox-provided hardware and OVA packages or via a bare-metal deployment and other supported open platforms. To ensure a successful deployment of a host deployment, review the system requirements and set up your environment accordingly. On the The Hosts page , of the Cloud Services Portal displays the following information, for all deployed hosts, so you can monitor them at a glance.:
Displayed Field | Description |

Host Type | The type of host. This field displays one of the followinghost’s type:
For example, if your host is a physical appliance, the host then its type is is BloxOne Appliance, the bare-metal container is is BloxOne Container, and the bare OVA VM is is BloxOne VM. Note that there are subtypes for BloxOne Appliance and BloxOne VM. When you use filters to locate specific on-prem hosts, you can select the following subtypes for :

Version # | The version of the platform version that is currently running on the host. |
Serial Number | The serial number of the appliance (physical or virtual). |
Options | Click the Options menu and choose to perform an option. You can The option to apply the host host’s configuration immediately, view host the host’s information, edit host the host’s configuration, or copy the API access key.
