Hosts are physical or virtual appliances on which you run BloxOne services based on your license entitlements. Note that “host” is formerly referred to as “on-prem host.”
Depending on your network infrastructure and how you want to implement hosts, you can deploy a host using Infoblox provided hardware and OVA packages or via a bare-metal deployment and other supported open platforms. To ensure a successful host deployment, review the system requirements and set up your environment accordingly. For more information, see BloxOne Connectivity and Service Requirements.
On the Hosts page, the Cloud Services Portal displays the following information for all deployed hosts, so you can monitor them at a glance.
