A fixed address represents a persistent link between an IP address and one of the following:

To view the list of fixed addresses, complete the following:

  1. From the Cloud Services Infoblox Portal, click Manage -> IPAM/DHCP -> Address Spaces.

  2. Click IP Space -> Address Block -> corresponding Subnet. It displays the list of fixed addresses associated with it.

  3. The application displays the following information:

  • NAME: The fixed IP address name.
  • TYPE: The object type can be IPv4 Fixed Address or Multi-home hostNIOS-X Server, for example. 
  • HOSTNAMENIOS-X Server name: The name(s) of the device(s) the IP address is associated with.
  • MAC ADDRESS: The MAC Address associated with the respective IP address.
  • CLIENT ID: The unique identifier of the hostNIOS-X Server.
  • LEASE STARTED: The day, date, and time when the lease starts.
  • LEASE REMAINING: The number of days, hours, minutes, and seconds that remains for the lease. 

You can also perform the following on this page: 

  • Click the filter button, , to filter the objects by Users, Free, Address/Name, or IP SpaceTo save a filter after selecting the required parameters click Save Filter, specify a name for the filter, and click Save. To reload a previously saved filter, click the saved filters button, , and select the required filter. 
  • Click the utilization details button, , to view the utilization details or click the tabular view button, , to view the details in a tabular format.
  • On the right-hand side or at the bottom (depending on your screen width) of the page, a panel displays more details about the selected address. The details include: Type, Usage, Names, Multi-home, and Fixed Address. If you do not want to view the details in the panel, click the information button, .

  • Enter the value that you want to search in the Search text box. BloxOne Universal DDI displays the list of items matching the keyword in the database. You can search by NameDescriptionTags (Tag key OR/AND Tag value), Address, MAC Address, Client ID/DUID, Type and DHCP Fingerprints. You can not search by lease start and lease remaining fields.

  • The No Entry icon,, shows that the object is disabled for DHCP protocol.
