Starting from version 7.6.0, NETMRI EC2 instance can be deployed in Amazon Web Services.

Prerequisites

To upload either NetMRI or Sandbox images to AWS, ensure that you fulfill the following prerequisites:

  • The Your AWS user should have has the necessary permissions for deployment as per the AWS documentation.

  • You must have installed AWS cli tools with AWS CLI tools installed in version 2 on your local machine, the underlying steps were provided in this guide are tested with version 2 of the AWS CLI tools.

  • Credentials for AWS CLI tools version 2are properly configured on your local machine

  • gunzip and tar tools are installed for uncompressing images

  • Ensure that Select the correct appropriate AWS region is chosen into which you want where you intend to upload the AMI.

Note: You should have at least 10Gb free space on your machine for VMDK files
