Deploying a NETMRI AWS instance
Starting from version 7.6.0, NETMRI EC2 instance can be deployed in Amazon Web Services.
Prerequisites
To upload either NetMRI or Sandbox images to AWS, ensure you fulfill the following:
Your AWS user has the necessary permissions for deployment as per the AWS documentation.
You have installed AWS CLI tools version 2 on your local machine, the steps provided in this guide are tested with version 2 of the AWS CLI tools.
Credentials for AWS CLI tools are properly configured on your local machine
gunzip
andtar
tools are installed for uncompressing imagesSelect the appropriate AWS region where you intend to upload the AMI.
Note: You should have at least 10Gb free space on your machine for VMDK files
