  1. Connect the following to your B1-105 appliance:

    1. The power cable that comes with the appliance

    2. An Ethernet cable using the LAN2 port on the front of the appliance

    3. A VGA or HDMI monitor

  2. Power up the appliance by pressing the power button and releasing it quickly. The network configuration is displayed on the monitor, as shown below. By default, the B1-105 on-prem appliance is configured for DHCP during the initial startup. If your network has DHCP servers available, the allocated IP address for the on-prem appliance is displayed on the monitor. If your network does not have DHCP servers available, the appliance will fall back to the default IP address 192.168.1.2, as shown in the figure below.

    In the network configuration, “enp1s0” maps to the LAN2 IP address, and “enp2s0” maps to LAN1. Please note that even if the LAN1 field picks up an IP address, the port is not being used.
