RPZ Feed Revamp for Cloud (Release Target: July, 2024)

BloxOne Threat Defense for cloud now includes a new feed structure that provides simplicity, along with user friendly names, allowing users to set the correct policies and address the growing number of feeds over time. With the new structure, customers can configure their policy action correctly per their risk posture and have an “at a glance” understanding of how their network is protected. This requires updating existing policy to utilize the new feed structure. Old policies can easily be updated using the provided 'Upgrade' option. The old policy, carrying old feeds, will be supported in view-only mode until December 2024, granting time to transition to the new feed structure. No updates allowed until this upgrade is complete. The updated RPZ feed structure for BloxOne Threat Defense for NIOS was announced and released in May 2023—this new feature addresses BloxOne Threat Defense Cloud. With this July release, both on-prem (NIOS) and cloud now carry the updated new feed structure. The old feeds will be deprecated after December 2024.

BloxOne Threat Defense Renamed to "Infoblox" Threat Defense

The recent launch of Infoblox Universal DDI marks the biggest moment for both our company and networking technology in over a decade. As we’re pioneering this new era of simplifying operations for our customers, we also want to remove complexity from how our products are named.

To achieve this goal, we’re rebranding some of the products in our portfolio. This includes removing the name “BloxOne” from products like BloxOne Threat Defense, which is now named Infoblox Threat Defense™. We appreciate your continued support through these exciting changes, and please feel free to contact us with any questions.
