A data profile must be created prior to uploading TIDE data.

To create new TIDE data profiles, complete the following:

  1. From the Cloud Services Portal, click Manage > TIDE Data.
  2. On the Data Upload page, click the Data Profiles tab, located above the Action bar.
  3. On the Data Profiles page, click Create Profile.
  4. On the Create Data Profile page, specify the following:
    • Name: Enter a name for the data profile. The name must be a single word, and only alphanumeric characters, "-", and "_" are allowed. For example, “John-smith_profile” is allowed but “John smith profile” is not.
    • Description: Enter a brief description of the data profile.  
    • Feed Name: Enter a name for the data feed. The name must be a single word, and only alphanumeric characters, "-", and "_" are allowed. For example, “John-smith007_feed” is permitted but “John smith 007 feed” is not.  
    • Use Default TTLs: To use default TTL values, toggle the switch to Yes.

      Note

      By default, the option of using default TTLs is set to YES.

  5. Click Save & Close to save or click Cancel to cancel the data profile configuration.
