BloxOne Threat Defense Endpoint protection depends on the type of VPN tunnel being used. When using a VPN, Endpoint protection is supported using split tunnel mode.
Split Tunnel Mode
- Protection is provided for BloxOne Threat Defense Endpoint when using split tunnel mode. In split tunnel mode, BloxOne Threat Defense Endpoint resolves DNS queries not sent over a VPN through BloxOne Threat Defense, while DNS queries sent over the VPN are not resolved via BloxOne Threat Defense.
Warning
Protection is not provided for BloxOne Threat Defense Endpoint in cases where all traffic is forwarded over the VPN.
