Use the telnet command to communicate with another host using the TELNET protocol. 

Syntax

The following is the command syntax:

telnet

The telnet command does not take any arguments.

When you run the telnet command in the administrative shell, it enters the command mode that is indicated by its prompt telnet>. In the command mode, run the necessary commands. To exit the command mode and return to the NetMRI administrative shell, run the quit command.
