Use the Remove range workflow to remove a NIOS network range or multiple ranges previously created with the Add range workflow. Search for a range by specifying either its start and end addresses or the extensible attributes.

To remove a range:

  1. Log in to the vRealize Orchestrator client.
  2. In the Dashboard panel, expand Library and click Workflows.
    The Workflows folder and its contents are displayed.
  3. Expand Library > Infoblox, and select Remove range.
  4. In the top-level menu of the workflow panel, click Run.
    The Remove range panel is displayed.
  5. On the Connection tab, click Connection to the IPAM server and select the IPAM connection as follows:
    1. In the Select InfobloxIPAM:IPAMConnection dialog, expand Infoblox IPAM and select the IPAM connection.
    2. Click Select.
  6. On the Remove criteria tab, do one of the following:
    • Specify the start and end addresses of the range.
      Optionally, specify the network view where the range resides.
    • Select Use extensible attributes for removing the range? (Range is used by default), and specify the details:
      1. In the Number of extensible attributes drop-down list, choose a number.
        According to the number you chose, Extensible attribute #<n> tabs are added for defining the extensible attributes.
      2. In the Network view in which the range's network resides field, select the network view.
      3. On each Extensible attribute #<n> tab, specify the name, value, and the type of the comparison (such as equal or not_equal) to use to find the record.
  7. Click Run.
