BloxOne DDI is the industry’s first cloud-managed DDI (DNS, DHCP, and IPAM) solution optimized for large-scale retail, remote and branch office deployments. The solution delivers secure, reliable, and centrally-managed DNS, DHCP, and IPAM services at each location. You can deploy BloxOne DDI across thousands of sites and reduce the total cost of ownership by leveraging low-cost hardware, virtual appliances, license pooling, and license portability. BloxOne DDI provides a secure environment for IPAM and integrated cybersecurity protection against DDoS, data exfiltration, and other DNS attacks.

This section explains the main steps required to configure, deploy, and manage your network using BloxOne DDI.

The following diagram explains the high-level workflow to deploy and configure BloxOne DDI:

1. Deploy the host on your network, such as a hardware device or a virtual machine. 2. Specify the Global DNS configuration, and create zones and resource records. 3. Specify the Global DHCP Properties, and create an IP space, an address block, a subnet, a range, and a fixed address. 4. Configure Access Control Lists, Option Spaces, Option Groups, IPv4 filters, DHCP fingerprints, and high availability. 5. Configure optional components, such NIOS Grid Connector, Anycast, Data Connector, and Notifications.

To get started with each step, complete the following procedures:
