You can modify the name, description, or tags of an existing DHCP Config Profile. You can also associate NIOS-X Servers with the DHCP Config Profile. 

To modify a DHCP Config Profile, complete the following:

  1. From the Infoblox Portal, click Manage > IPAM/DHCP > DHCP Config Profiles. The list of DHCP Config Profiles is displayed.

  2. Click > Edit or select the respective record and click the Edit button to modify a DHCP Config Profile.

  3. NIOS-X Servers: Click Add to add a NIOS-X Server. Click the NIOS-X Server from the list and click Select.
  4. Modify the details and click Save & Close to save the record or click Cancel to cancel.

Note

You can add a NIOS-X Server only while modifying a DHCP Config Profile. When you add a NIOS-X Server, the DHCP Config Profile is assigned to it. 

When modifying a DHCP Config Profile, you can view the leases, DHCP options, DDNS details, and filters that are inherited from the Global DHCP Configuration. You can also override these values. For more information, see Global DHCP Configuration. For additional information on inheritance, see About DHCP Inheritance.
