Setting up the B1-105
Prerequisites
Before you set up the B1-105 appliance, you must provision the appliance and obtain the API Access Key through the Cloud Services Portal.
Note
If you plan to use a static IP address for the B1-105, you also need to obtain the DNS data for the IP address.
Provisioning the B1-105 Appliance
To provision the B1-105, complete the following:
- Access the Cloud Services Portal
- Go to Manage -> On-Prem Hosts
- Click Create On-Prem Host to create a host.
- Provision the new B1-105 on-prem host and copy the API Access Key.
Best Practices for Setting Up B1-105
Consider the following when setting up your B1-105 appliance:
- If you plan to configure the on-prem appliance using a static IP, obtain the IP address, subnet mask, gateway, and other DNS information.

- Ensure that you follow the port usage below for proper connections.

The following table lists the port usage for BloxOne DDI. You must open all the ports for BloxOne DDI to function properly.
