Enabling DHCP Thresholds

You can enable thresholds for DHCP utilization. This allows you to be notified if the DHCP utilization goes above or below a certain percentage.

To enable DHCP thresholds, complete the following:

  1. From the Infoblox Portal, click Manage > IPAM/DHCP > Global DHCP Configuration.

  2. On the Global DHCP Configuration page, go to the DHCP Thresholds pane.

  3. Select the Enable DHCP Thresholds check box and configure the following:

    • Trigger - High: Specify the value in % when a notification is to be sent when the DHCP utilization crosses the upper limit.

    • Trigger - Low: Specify the value in % when a notification is to be sent when the DHCP utilization crosses the lower limit.

Note

After configuring the DHCP thresholds, optionally configure a custom webhook to receive notifications when the DHCP utilization goes above or below a certain percentage. For more information, see Configuring Service Integrations.

Note

When the DHCP utilization goes above or below a certain percentage, a notification is displayed. When the DHCP utilization returns within the threshold, another notification is displayed stating that the issue has been resolved.Â
