Configuring NIOS
- Each member of NIOS Grid Master can be configured to send the DNS Query/Response logs and/or RPZ logs to specific Data Connector servers.
- To receive data from NIOS as DNS Query/Response logs or RPZ logs, or to receive IPAM metadata, you must have an RO user permission.
Configuring DNS Query and Response
To configure DNS Query/Response, do the following:
- In NIOS, click Data Management > DNS.
- On the DNS screen, select the member to be configured. Click Edit.
- Click Logging > Advanced.
- Update the Data Connector server’s IP address and the SCP username password provided while you were configuring the NIOS source.
- Repeat this procedure to configure all members and to update the Data Connector servers to which the logs will be sent.
