Creating DTC Pool - General

Configure the following in the General Pane:

  • State: Choose whether the pool is Enabled or Disabled. By default, it is Enabled.

  • Name: Specify a name for the pool.

  • Description: Provide a description for the pool.

  • Load balancing type: Choose one of the following:

    • Ratio: Requests to all available pools and servers are as per its weightage.

    • Round Robin: Available pools and servers are chosen sequentially in the configured order. Weights are ignored.

  • TTL: The TTL settings are inherited from the parent. For example, a server is a parent for the pool. TTL settings are inherited from the server. To specify different TTL settings, toggle Override and specify the TTL in Days, Hours, Minutes, Second, or Weeks.

  • Tags: Optionally, specify tags. For more information, see Managing Tags.
