Prerequisites for Cloud Forwarders
Before setting up cloud forwarding, you need to ensure certain prerequisite settings.
The prerequisites are as follows:
Before creating a cloud forwarder, you must create a Discovery Service. For more information, see Creating Discovery Services.
Create the Network Discovery Configuration for the particular cloud provider:
Microsoft Azure - for more information, see Microsoft Azure.
Amazon Web Services - for more information, see Amazon Web Services.
Google Cloud Platform - for more information, see Google Cloud Platform.
Define the routing between the cloud provider private network, and the target IP address. This can be an on-premise BloxOne NIOS-X Server (DNS server) or another cloud provider. This configuration must allow traffic on port 53.
For Google Cloud Platform, the on-premise network (BloxOne NIOS-X Server) must be configured to allow the standard network used for outbound forwarding 35.199.192.0/19.
