Limitations of Universal DDI
Universal DDI has the following limitations:
IPAM Federation
Multi Grid Management is not supported
System Manager is not supported
Does not allow to configure Join Token and enable Federation at same time
If the token is updated in Grid Master at the member level, then Grid Master Candidate’s member is not shown in params.json
Restore DB backup with realms and associated IPAM objects not supported
Restore from recycle bin not supported
Reparenting for IPAM objects is not supported
Split networks are not supported when realms are assigned
Compartment for NIOS synced IPAM objects are not supported
Adding or updating IPv6 range from the Infoblox Portal for NIOS synced IPv4 subnets is not supported
Bulk import of NIOS IPAM objects to the Infoblox Portal may show an error
For NIOS synced objects, Reservation and Copy options are greyed out from in the Infoblox Portal
Adding fixed address with Next Available IP is not supported on NIOS synced networks
WAPI Passthru for API calls to non-GM scenarios (GMC, CP and Reporting member) is not supported
CSV import with realms is not supported
When disabling Federation, delegation blocks are not removed from realms
When reverting the grid back to older version when IPAM objects are added with realms, delegation blocks not removed
IPAM objects which are synced before enabling Federation will be read-only mode
During ADD, UPDATE, and DELETE operations for IPAM objects with realms, the process may take a long time to complete
Editing NIOS synced fixed address is not supported
iFrame to access NIOS via the Infoblox Portal
Multi Grid Management is not supported
System Manager is not supported
Splunk reporting not supported
Disabling concurrent login for a user is not supported
GMC Promotion not supported
Downloads not supported
Logging in with NIOS credentials and logging out of NIOS is not supported
Default Federated user is not allowed to update the User Profile
Contextual-Help is not available
Default Smart folders are not available
All Authentications types are not supported
