Post-Configuration Verification
After successfully configuring Infoblox to forward logs to Cribl, you should observe data flowing into Cribl. At this stage, you can direct the incoming data to various destinations, such as other platforms or the Cribl Data Lake, depending on your specific use case.
To verify that Infoblox logs are being received correctly in Cribl, you can utilize Cribl's live data capture feature:
Access the Source Configuration:
Navigate to the Data > Sources section in the Cribl Stream interface.
Locate the Source corresponding to your Infoblox logs.
Initiate Live Data Capture:
Click the Live button next to the desired Source. This action will start capturing live data from that Source.
Review Captured Data:
In the Live Data view, you can monitor incoming events in real-time, ensuring that logs are being received as expected.
For detailed instructions on capturing source data, refer to Cribl's official documentation
By following these steps, you can confirm that the integration is functioning correctly and that Infoblox logs are successfully reaching Cribl.
